The changes NMC made in February are:

• Standardizing the minimum test scores NMC accept when applicants combine scores across two sittings.
• Extending the period for combining test scores from six to twelve months.
• Accept additional supporting information from employers. This only applied to applicants who trained in English in a country where English is not a majority spoken language, and who have been working for at least one year in a non-registered role in a health and social care setting in the UK.
