Nursing Recruitment to Germany – Process Flowchart

Step 1 – Start German A1 + Submit Profile

Begin A1 level classes → Submit your profile to Elizabeth International → Eligibility check.

Step 2 – Profile Scrutiny

We review and evaluate your documents → Guidance on missing/required paperwork.

Step 3 – Complete B1 Level

Attend German classes A1–B1 → After B1 completion, you become eligible for employer interviews.

Step 4 – Employer Interviews

We schedule interviews with German hospitals → If selected, you receive your Employment Contract.

Step 5 – Translation & Attestation of Documents

Certified German translations → Notary/Apostille/Embassy attestation → File preparation for recognition.

Step 6 – Recognition Process (From India)

We submit your documents to the German state authority → Recognition (Anerkennung) process begins → Continuous follow-up.

Step 7 – Complete B2 Exam (4 Modules)

Your main task: Pass all 4 modules of the B2 exam (Goethe / TELC / ÖSD / ECL).

Eligibility Criteria

  • – Valid nursing registration in your home country

  • – Maximum age up to 42 years when starting the German Language
